We had ten riders out for Wednesday's Time Trial and while we were delighted to see the return of last year's runner up, Martin O'Halloran, an unfortunate flat meant he had to retire early from the race. Meanwhile, Jonathon Costello again blazed a trail to complete the 20km in a staggering 29:24 while in the ladies race, Pamela Zarb, fresh from her podium at the James McManus Memorial Tri, took another two minutes of her last 20km TT to finish in 35:02. With handicaps applied, Maura McGauran came out tops with Mary Hoey and Pamela Zarb close on her heels. In perfect weather conditions, we had improved times from all riders this week with really the only impediment perhaps being the heat! Well done all.
Our next time trial will be in a fortnight on 20th June on the hills and no handicaps will be applied so fastest to the top wins!
