Karol McNern took the top spot at Wednesday’s TT as he trailblazed to the finish in a fast and furious 38:25. Despite Gabriel’s 617.2km spin last week, the Mizen to Malin cyclist crossed the line, just over a minute back in 39:36 to take 2nd place, with last week’s winner, Paschal in third place. Eleanor was again first lady across the line with a fantastic 42:18 followed in second by Pamela with Mary taking third place for the ladies.
Well done to all who participated over the 23km course in a stiff westerly headwind. Tough luck to Ruairi who had started well but was forced to retire with a flat.
