Prizes
Prizes will be awarded for all age categories with cash prizes for top three male and female finishers. There will also be prizes for relay teams and short course. All prizes must be collected at the post race presentation as we will not arrange for the forwarding of prizes after race day.

Timing & Rules
Chip timing will be in use from Core Timing. Please return chips after race.
Triathlon Ireland and ITU rules will apply. For details see Manual Guidance on www.triathlonireland.com.

Road Safety
Roads will remain open to traffic for the event, with the exception of a short stretch close to the finish where traffic will be restricted. Competitors should obey the rules of the road and exercise due caution when presented with a hazard. Instructions from Gardai and Marshals should be followed.
Competitors deemed to be cycling dangerously or without consideration to others will be disqualified or penalised by race marshals.
Civil Defence (ambulance) will be in attendance on the day.

Access & Parking
On race day the road between the gate lodge and the sailing club will be closed between 09:30 and 14:00 (except for emergency vehicles and resident access). The public car park at the beach will be accessible for competitors up to 09:30 or when full to capacity if earlier. At 09:30 the entrance will be closed and competitors will not be able to remove cars until roads and reopened at 14:00. Alternative parking is available in the village. Residents in the Pier Head Hotel will be able to use the hotel car park. Competitors are encouraged to arrive early and avoid causing an obstruction with cars.
