    A strong performance from new club man, Gareth Gallagher, meant Gabriel Timoney had to again settle for second place in this evenings 20 Km TT, while Martin O'Halloran had a super Cycle to take third place.  In the ladies race, Regina Magee, showed no signs of fatigue from her weekend adventures to take top spot for the ladies with more strong cycling from Maura McGauran and Eileen Ward in second and third.     Good conditions this evening with light winds meant times were mostly faster for the second time trial of our Summer TT Series. Eleanor Rooney was still unbeatable in the ladies race despite a half marathon and 70km bike session on Sunday. After losing out by 12 seconds last week to Sarah O'Malley Daly, Regina Magee put in a great effort to pull ahead taking second place from Sarah in third by 14 seconds.     The first race of MSC Tri Club Summer Time Trial Series saw 22 riders compete in excellent conditions with the assistance of a westerly breeze to the finish line. In top spot, Karol McNern held of a strong challenge from Gabriel Timoney who took second ahead of Canice Nicholas in third position.     MSC Tri Club will be running Safeguarding 1 course on Thursday, 18th May at the Lakeside Centre, Ballyshannon. This three hour course (7pm to 10pm) will be of interest to all adults involved in the organisation of sport for young people. It is a necessary course for all coaches, organisers and helper involved in MSC Tri Junior Club however the course is open to all and costs €15 per person.
